What is Secondary Air Injection?

Secondary Air Injection applies a complicated assembly to feed ambient air into the exhaust path, provoking earlier catalyst initiation. Moisture and other related issues cause this system to malfunction in up to 80% of vehicles aged over three years.

What is the Air System Delete™?

The Air System Delete™ is a microprocessor based solution for removing the problematic Secondary Air Injection system in all late-model Subaru vehicles. The ASD uses an innovative, and intelligent algorithmic approach that is completely self-contained within the unit, requiring no ECU or other modification.

Installation Within Thirty (30) Minutes...

 

 STEP 1: LOCATE LOOM

Locate and make accessible, the wiring loom for your ECU in order to wire in the SAE unit. The location of the ECU for you vehicle is outlined in the included instructions.
STEP 2: ADD HARNESS

Connect the harness that comes with the SAE to the appropriate wires connected to your vehicle ECU. Please see the included instructions for an appropriate wiring diagram.
STEP 3: Connect SUBARU AIR DELETE device.

Connect the ASD harness to the ASD unit and start your vehicle. The ASD unit will now calibrate and integrate with the ECU in your vehicle, sending it the necessary data.

STEP 4: CLEAR CODES

Using a diagnostic tool clear all error codes caused by the malfunctioning Secondary Air components. Upon restarting your vehicle, there should be no new error codes raised.
